The Multi RS Solar 48/6000 is a 48 V and 6 kVA charging inverter with two independent MPPT tracker inputs of 3 kWp FV 450 V for a total of 6 kWp FV. Thanks to its modern design and high-frequency technology, the inverter weighs only 11 kg and has excellent efficiency, low consumption at rest and very quiet operation.
The inverter has a screen to read information about the battery, inverter and solar charger. These parameters can also be read by Bluetooth in the app Victron Connect.
The inverter/charger has several modes of operation:
- Hybrid: Stores excess solar energy in a battery for use during periods of high demand or at night.
- During a power outage.
- Isolated: works without a power supply.
- Generator: Controls the generator to minimize operating hours.
A maximum current value for the generator or network may be set. The Multi RS will also take into account AC loads and use the surplus current to charge the battery, thus avoiding overloading the generator or the grid (PowerControl). When a power peak occurs in a short period of time, the inverter will compensate for the lack of power from the generator or grid with battery power (PowerAssist).
On the screen you can read information about the battery, the inverter and the solar charger. To access these parameters use Bluetooth through the app Victron Connect.
The integrated capacity can be expanded by adding solar chargers to the system.
Connecting VE.Can to a GX device for remote system monitoring, data logging and firmware updates. Connection VE.Direct to a GlobalLink 520 for remote data monitoring.
