Operating Modes of the Deye SUN-3K-SG04LP1-EU Inverter

- Off-grid Mode (No Grid Connection)

Deye hybrid inverters are ideal for homes without grid connection thanks to their integrated backup system and compatibility with most 48V batteries on the market.

- Backup Mode

Ideal for homes with poor grid connection or locations where the grid often experiences prolonged outages. The hybrid inverter can keep the batteries charged when the grid is available and, when it fails, continue providing power to the home directly from the solar panels and battery.

- Self-consumption Mode

The normal operating mode for any home connected to the grid. During sunlight hours, the home consumes energy from the solar panels; surplus production can be stored in the battery or sold to the grid. If the home’s power demand exceeds solar production, energy is first drawn from the battery, and if that is insufficient, the remainder is supplied by the grid.

- Surplus Sale Mode

This Deye inverter is designed for grid feed-in to sell photovoltaic surplus energy to the electricity supplier.
