- Electrical assistance
The MultiPlus-II can avoid overloads from a limited AC source, such as a generator or port outlet. First, it will automatically reduce the battery charge when otherwise an overload would occur. Second, it will draw current from the battery to offset the power supply to the generator or the power grid.
- ESS: Energy storage system
The MultiPlus-II is the key component of a Victron ESS system as it offers the flexibility to be combined with MPPT solar chargers or grid-connected PV inverters. Examples and more detailed information can be found in the ESS (Energy Storage System) Manual.
- continuous alternating current (SAI function)
In the event of a power failure, or the port outlet or generator being disconnected, the inverter integrated into the Multi is automatically activated and takes over the supply to power the connected loads. This happens so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment continue to operate without interruption.
- Remote monitoring and control
If paired with a GX device (e.g. a Cerbo GX) you can monitor and control your Multi and its system or systems locally (LAN) or remotely over the Internet from anywhere in the world with the free VRM app and the free VRM portal. Access can be made from a phone, tablet or PC with different operating systems. The level of control is limitless, from setting your Multi to automatically starting a backup generator and much more...
