About the SMA Energy Meter
The SMA Energy Meter is a device used to prevent the injection of energy into the network. It measures the total consumption of the house, the production of solar energy and electric power and the injection of current into the network. The Energy meter communicates the inverter's consumption data to the SMA inverter.
The SMA Energy Meter allows the electric current to be accounted for precisely by each phase, as an injection meter to the grid as a measurement of current consumption. The SMA energy meter is easy to install, compact and intuitive, perfect to combine with other SMA accessories such as the SMA Seat Home.
Summing up the SMA Energy Meter is the universal SMA counter that allows energy measurement by phase, antifouling or zero injection and is a necessary data source for intelligent energy management and monitonization.
