Characteristics and specifications

The PIKO BA Sensor is used to record the self-consumption of the home or the power it injects into the network, and represents the corresponding values in the solar portal. In addition, in small installations up to 30 KW in which a regulation has been adjusted, for example, 70%, the sensor can also be used as an economical alternative to the centralized remote control receiver.

In this case, the sensor can be used, in combination with the inverter, to regulate self-consumption dynamically and thus distribute the optimum form of the energy generated.

Product features of the PIKO BA Sensor

  • Detection of domestic consumption by analog current measurement
  • Simple installation by mounting on a hat rail according to DIN EN 60715
  • Control of the power of the inverter according to the principle of dynamic control of active power
  • The PIKO BA Sensor should only be used in combination with a PIKO inverter.

The equipment should only be used in photovoltaic installations connected to the network within the expected power range. The equipment is not suitable for portable use.

In the case of incorrect use of the equipment, this can create dangers for the physical integrity of the user or third parties. In addition, incorrect use can cause damage to equipment or other objects. The current sensor must be used exclusively for its intended use.
