An optimizer for solar panels is used to increase the performance of the photovoltaic system, constantly adjusting the maximum point of power MPPT. SolarEdge P404 is installed in each solar panel and it serves to optimize the performance of the solar modules facing shadows. The SolarEdge is a CC/CC converter connected to each module, turning them into smart solar modules. Besides optimize each solar panel, it communicates data to the SolarEdge monitoring platform in order to have control at all times of the energy production of the photovoltaic system. Each optimizer incorporates a unique feature, SafeDC ™, that automatically reduces CC tension to a safe level every time the inverter or grid is disconnected.
