When to choose 72 cell solar panels?
EThis type of grid-connected solar panels are used for self-consumption installations in private homes, companies, farms... although nowadays it is also possible to use them in isolated solar installations together with an MPPT controller or a hybrid inverter. Evidently using solar panels of 72 cells in isolated installations we manage to reduce the investment, since we obtain the same power with less number of panels.
The panels of 72 cells offer voltages between 35 and 40 volts and can generate powers ranging from 220W to 330W. This is the main advantage of this type of solar modules; they offer more power per square meter. On the one hand we make the installation cheaper and on the other they are ideal for systems with little space available for panels.
When to choose 24 volt solar panels?
LThe 24 volt solar panels are specially designed for isolated installations for 24 volt battery charging (or two 12 volt monobloc batteries or OPzS batteries for stationary battery systems).
The advantage of 24 volt solar panels is that they offer more power per square meter than 12 volts and generally lower the price of installations.
